As a key project jointly promoted and implemented by Guangdong Montai High-Tech Fiber Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., LTD., Gansu Nata New Materials Co., Ltd. has attracted much attention since its launch. During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, all kinds of machinery at the project construction site were operating in an orderly manner. Workers were concentrating on construction on the aerial work platforms, meticulously filling the steel structure of the carbonization workshop with "flesh and blood".

Up to now, the comprehensive building of the first phase of the project has been successfully completed, and the main construction of the No. 1 carbonization workshop has been finished. The overall progress is rapid.

It is reported that the total investment of this project is 2.77 billion yuan. After completion, the annual output of PAN carbon fiber will reach 24,000 tons, with an expected annual output value of 2.16 billion yuan. The carbon fibers produced will be widely applied in multiple high-end manufacturing fields such as aerospace, automotive manufacturing, and wind turbine blades.

It is worth mentioning that this project not only fills the gap of large-scale production of high-end carbon fiber in Gansu Province, but also will effectively drive the aggregation of upstream and downstream supporting enterprises, gradually building a complete industrial chain of "raw silk - carbon silk - composite materials", injecting strong impetus into the high-quality development of the new materials industry in the western region.
